On our network applies the D-tariff (Public transport tariff throughout Germany), the MVV tariff within the MVV area (Munich and surroundings), the AVV tariff within the AVV area (Augsburg and surroundings) and the VGI tariff in addition to the D-tariff within the INVG area (Ingolstadt and surroundings).
Children up to and including 5 years of age generally travel free of charge and do not need their own ticket. Children aged 6 to 14 inclusive travel free of charge with a parent or grandparent if they are specified at the time of purchase and - where possible - registered on the ticket. If accompanied by someone else or travelling alone, they pay 50 per cent of the regular fare. Children aged 15 and over pay the full fare. Please note, however, that special offers like day tickets (e.g. Guten Tag Ticket or Bayern-Ticket) may have different rules.
Valid on all routes up to max. 50 km one-way in Bavaria and on authorised routes outside Bavaria. Valid for return journeys on the registered route from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 a.m. the following day; Saturdays, Sundays and all Bavarian public holidays (including Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, 15.08) from 0:00 a.m.; up to 3 children between 6 and 14 years included; children under 6 years free. At least one part of the journey must be outside the Tariff zone MVV, AVV, DING, VGI or VVM.
There is a surcharge of €2 when purchasing tickets at the customer centre and at a ticket partner.
You can find the Bayern-Hopper at the ticket machine via the ticket search or via the connection search, if the criteria for the selected journey are fulfilled. Possible relations are e.g. round trip Buchloe - Augsburg Hbf.
